So I had been ocassionaly laying the stubborn tire on the shop floor and lowering a two post shop lift arm with a vehicle on it onto the tire. This unit does not have the bead breaker shovel attachement on the side. The upper bead breaker roller by contrast pushes the tire downwards forcing it tighter closer to the mounting table.

It seems like the lower bead is the most troublesome because the lower bead breaker roller pushes the tire upwards and then the rim slides upwards across the rubber table feet that are supposed to hold it stationary. However, every so often a tire bead is really stuck to the rim flange and refuses to move. This device can mount/demount a tire relatively quickly as long as the tire bead moves freely on the rim.
